A Benefit for Japan

On March 11th 2011, an earthquake and tsunami devastated Japan, sweeping away coastlines, destroying homes, and affecting the lives of millions of people.

FTC Skateboards donated 30 blank skateboard decks to Collective Good. They gave them to 30 Bay Area artists to use as a canvas for their thoughts and feelings on this tragedy. I was lucky enough to be asked to design one of these decks.
This evening Plywood for Good will auction of the skateboards for charity and partner with Direct Relief International to donate 100% of the proceeds to aid the rebuilding efforts in Japan.

Actress Rebecca Jameson graced the red carpet at this year’s Cannes Film Festival wearing the Louisa Parris “Jacquie” gown. Look out for Rebecca in the upcoming British spy thriller "Vauxhill Crossed." She looked absolutely stunning as an invited guest making her entrance at the premiere of Woody Allen’s movie “Midnight in Paris.”
