Our Products

Some of our products are hand woven from natural fibres. Any variations in weave or texture are inherent characteristics of the fabric. All hand embellishments may have variations. Please treat with care. Products and their colours can slightly differ from the pictures on our Site.

In order to shop with us, you need:

Account Registration

To use some of the Services available to you on our Site, you will need to register for an account. If you register for an account, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete. If you register an account with us, you will be able to:

3. Request returns directly from your account

To create an account, select REGISTER on the navigation bar to fill in your details. The account password you create should be unique and kept secure. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of the Terms.

Price

Prices on our Site are in British Pound Sterling (GBP). The prices do not include customs duties, tax and shipping costs, all of which will be borne by you. All the orders wherever the buyer is based are payable in GBP. If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in GBP, the final price charged will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

If you are not based in the UK, you will need to prepay custom duties and taxes at the checkout which is calculated by Zonos

Louisa Parris reserves the right to change our Site at any time and without prior notice, the prices of Products offered on our Site. This includes where prices advertised are incorrect.

Placing an Order

To place an order, you must add items to your Shopping Cart, enter your billing/shipping address, select your delivery option and choose your payment method to complete your order.

When you click ‘Pay Now’, you are confirming that you fully accept the Terms. Your order is an irrevocable offer to buy the Products. Before proceeding to purchase, please check the order details and correct any possible errors.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your Shopping Cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

Acceptance of Order

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order namely:

1. Your delivery and invoicing addresses
2. Order number
3. Date of the order
4. List of Products ordered
5. Price (including all applicable fees and taxes)
6. The method and cost of shipping

This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us will be concluded when we email you to confirm that the Products have been dispatched.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply, that the Product ordered is out of stock or is withdrawn, that the Product was advertised and offered for sale at an incorrect price, that you do not meet the Eligibility criteria under the Terms, or, there are reports or suspicion of fraudulent or illegal activity.

In the event that you have already paid for the goods, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the full amount as soon as possible. In the event that the Products are recalled in transit, we will process your refund once the Products have been returned to us.

All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer, If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Louisa Parris, we will not be liable for non- acceptance of your order, any delay or non-delivery.

Promotion Code

Promotion codes given to you are non-transferrable and there are no cash alternatives. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers and must be redeemed by the date published, where provided.

UK Customers

Please allow about one week for delivery of the order being placed unless an item is on pre-order.

EU Customers

Please allow about one week for delivery of the order being placed unless an item is on pre-order.

International Customers:

Please allow about two weeks for delivery of the order being placed unless an item is on pre-order.

We will try to keep to the above time frames. They are the average period based on previous orders. “Pre-order” transactions may take as long as six to nine months from the date of the order. Exceeding this estimated time frame may not give rise to any cancellation of the order, reductions in the price you paid or to any damages.

You are subject to the general terms of delivery of DHL. If DHL is unable to deliver the Products because your address is incomplete or incorrect, the parcel can’t be placed in your letterbox, the recipient refuses the parcel, or there is a lack of information making it impossible to deliver the Product at the appointed time to the recipient, Louisa Parris cannot be held liable for the final completion of the delivery.

Returns

Returning an item purchased couldn’t be easier.

If you are not satisfied with your Louisa Parris purchase, you have 14 days from the date of receiving your order to return the item purchased. Unfortunately, we are not able to do exchanges. If you need a different size, colour or style, you will need to return the item to get a refund and place a new order for the replacement.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same immaculate ‘as sold’ condition that you received it. It must also have the labels attached and be in its linen or silk bags.

Please request a return by emailing info@louisaparris.com within 7 days of receipt of the item purchased including your order number, reason for return and offer code (if applicable). We will then provide you with a return code to enter on the Return Form included with your order, new offer code (if applicable) and a DHL return label to attach to your parcel. For orders returned from outside the UK, we will send you a commercial invoice to include in your return.

Please ensure that you return the item within 14 days of receipt of the order.

Return shipping costs are free of charge to all customers, both in the UK and internationally. We will refund your method of payment for the purchase price, less original shipping costs, customs charges and taxes, once we receive your return package.

Your use of our Site grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trade marks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to the content. All such content including any third party trade marks, designs, and related intellectual property rights mentioned or displayed on our Site are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the content only as expressly authorised by Louisa Parris. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. If Louisa Parris fail to comply with the Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer as a foreseeable result of us breaching the Terms. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract is made, both you and Louisa Parris knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process. We will only be liable for loss or damage up to 120% of the total value of goods purchased.

We are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach or negligence, indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not reasonably foreseeable by you and us (for example, loss of profits or loss of opportunity).

Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure to meet any of our obligations under the Terms where such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control.

Compensation

At our request, you agree to compensate us fully, defend us, and hold us Louisa Parris harmless immediately on demand, its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees, arising from any breach of the Terms by you, including the use by any other persons accessing this Site using your Internet account caused by your action or inaction.

Governing law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the law of England and Wales, excluding any conflicts or choice of law rule or principle that might otherwise refer construction or interpretation of these Terms to the substantive law of another jurisdiction.

We both also agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims). We both agree to submit to that jurisdiction, save that nothing will prevent either party from enforcing a judgement of the English or Welsh courts in any appropriate jurisdiction.

Sale Terms & Conditions

Items that are included within our sales are subject to availability. We reserve the right to add and remove items included within the sale at our discretion, and to allocate items a different discount percentage.
